Boy Scout Troop 49 to attend BSA High Adventure Camp at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in the summer 2016!
 
Get a taste of the adventure and action sports opportunities available at the BSA’s newest national base — The Summit Bechtel Reserve — located in Southern West Virginia. The Appalachian Adventure program gives you access to all venues in the Scott Summit Center. This area is a microcosm of the Summit with sample versions of each of the high adventure venues and a ton of exciting activities.

Morning and afternoon activities focus on skill development activities like skateboarding, rock climbing, archery, kayaking, ecology/conservation, project COPE, mountain biking or wilderness survival. In the evening all Summit Center venues are available for open programming. This is where Scouts and Venturers can seek pure adrenaline and enjoyment through zip-lines, BMX, canopy tours, water reality, live music, relays, and much more!

Monthly Roundtable - Adult Leaders Ongoing Training Monthly

Part of every Adult Leader's on-going training is attendence in monthly Roundtables.

Roundtable is supplemental training that is offered monthly, on the second Thursday of the month from 7:29 - 8:30 pm.

Boy Scout Troop 49 to assist Louisville Chamber of Commerce with Taste of Louisville Race Registration Saturday June 7th, 2015

City of Louisville Chamber of Commerce asked Boy Scout Troop 49 again this year to help with race registrations, foot traffic control, and pass out drinks to runners at the 2015 Taste of Louisville.
